1943, POETRY, FAMILY & WAR
PETER WALTER
Peter must escape his overprotective parents in order to become a war journalist.

SYNOPSIS
We are in 1943 and the war is far from over. This is, however, not the world the Walters live in.
Harold, Diane and their son Peter are happily hidden away from the chaos and destruction of war, safe in their isolated country manor house.
Although his parents don’t have any guilt about their privileged lives, the young writer, Peter, feels trapped in a world of glamour and aristocracy, oblivious to the hardship shared by the rest of the nation. His parents want him to continue the family legacy by becoming a fine lawyer. Trapped in the house, growing ever more insecure about his writing, and incapable of helping the men fighting and dying across Europe, Peter signs up for Sandhurst Military school.
